How to Reinstall the Software

You have come to the right place if:
  • you need to know how to re-install Postage $aver, Smart Barcoder, Smart Parcel Mailer, or our Smartbars12 font, either on a new computer or your old one;
  • you need your registration codes or update codes resent for Postage $aver, Smart Barcoder, or Smart Parcel Mailer; or,
  • you need your download code resent for our Smartbars12 barcode font.
To re-install the software:

If you have purchased any of our products within the past year, or you purchased Postage $aver before that but you have renewed your registration and it is current, you are welcome to download and install a fresh copy at any time at no charge.

If you are installing Postage $aver on a different computer, you can easily transfer your settings. On your original computer, run Postage $aver, go to the File menu, and select Backup Postage $aver Settings. Save the backup file to a flash drive or anywhere else that you can access from the new computer. Once you've installed Postage $aver on your new computer, run Postage $aver, go to the File menu, and select Restore Settings from Backup, and load the backup file that you created.

After transferring your settings, you will still need to enter your registration and update codes into Postage $aver on the new computer. If you don't have those codes, you can have them resent by using the "Resend My Registration" feature on the registration screen in Postage $aver.

To retrieve your registration codes or download instructions:

If you have purchased any of our products within the past year, or you purchased Postage $aver before that but you have renewed your registration and it is current, you can have a copy of your download instructions resent automatically, along with your registration code (and current update code, where applicable).

Scroll down this page to enter the email address we have on file for your registration, choose "Registration email", then click submit. Our site will automatically verify your registration and instantly email your download instructions and your registration or download code(s).

For current update code for Postage $aver:

If Postage $aver is telling you that you need to update to the current version, but you do not have the email we sent with your update instructions, you may have the update email resent automatically.

Scroll down this page to enter the email address we have on file for your registration in the field below, choose "Latest update email for Postage $aver Pro and Lite", then click submit. Our site will automatically verify your registration and instantly email the latest update information and the current update code.

For current update information for Smart Barcoder:

If you need to update Smart Barcoder to the current version, but you do not have the email we sent with your update instructions, you may have the instructions resent automatically.

Just enter the email address we have on file for your registration in the field below, choose "Latest update email for Smart Barcoder", then click submit. Our site will automatically verify your registration and instantly email the latest update information.

If your Postage $aver registration has expired:

If you ask to have your registration or update information, but your registration has expired, you will be asked to renew your registration.

If you renew online, you will receive the current update code immediately in the renewal email.

If you need your registration codes or download instructions, you will be able get those from this page immediately after you renew, if the email you use to renew matches the email we have on file for you. If you use a different email, it will typically take one business day for us to update this page with your renewal.

If you have a current registration for Postage $aver, you do NOT need to renew to download a new copy, install the current update or get your codes.

What if my email address has changed?

If you have changed your email address and not notified us of the change, you will not be able to use this page until we change our records. Please send us your current and previous email address so that we can make the update. We process all manual requests as soon as possible, usually within one business day. Once we let you know that our records have been updated, you will be able to come back to this page to get what you need.

Registration codes for older purchases:

If you purchased a copy of Postage $aver, we will provide registration and update codes, and you can download replacement software, as long as your registration is current. If your registration has expired, you can renew it and it will be considered current.

We do not provide registration or download codes for Smart Barcoder, Smart Parcel Mailer, or the Smartbars12 font more than one year after your purchase, unless the products were purchased as part of a package with Postage $aver Pro and your registration for Postage $aver Pro is current. You are welcome to download replacements of those products from our web site without limit if you still have your original codes, but replacement codes will not be provided.

Latest update email for Postage $aver Pro and Lite - Includes the current update code and details on the latest software changes. (For registered users of Postage $aver Pro and Postage $aver Lite only)

Latest update email for Smart Barcoder - Includes details on the latest software changes. (For registered users of Smart Barcoder and Postage $aver Pro with Smart Barcoder only)

Enter the email address that you have on file with us:
